What is Takeoff Tutoring?

We are an educator founded platform that focuses on giving our students the best to get the best out of them.  This is done by offering multiple tutoring options to ensure that there is something that fits everyone.  By allowing tutors to be flexible in the scheduling we aim to help educators get more out of life while providing high quality academic training to kids worldwide.

We are community driven and give back to our students by way of rewards points and prizes and other free services, such as mental health and college and career awarenss, as a means to educate and nurture the entire student..

Our founder, Brandon Jakes, more affectionately known as Coach Jakes, is a high energy chemistry teacher and basketball coach who has been inspiring and motivating kids for over 15 years.

The 2022-23 teacher of the year is super active on his campus with basketball duties as well as co-sponsor for Student Council, leader of the pep rallies, does the campus daily announcements, sponsor of the Black Culture Club and lead member of the campus culture and school spirit committee.
